Our Story

Wellness Recruitment was born when three people had a conversation about how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the hospitality industry.

Due to many immigrants heading back to their home countries and work visas being put on government holds, companies struggled to find employees and employees struggled to land suitable jobs. Hoteliers, restaurant owners and other tourist industries were faced with the tough decision of halting operations or permanently shutting down causing millions of layoffs that affected all job levels from senior management to floor staff.

All of this resulted in mismatched opportunities.

Wellness Recruitment aims to fix this problem by offering a turnkey, forward-thinking recruitment company whereby we make sure the candidates sourced and placed are at the highest level and skill set. Our niche area is sourcing and successfully placing Clinic and Spa Managers, Massage Therapists, Holistic Therapists, Retreat Specialists, Chefs, Hospitality workers, and Executives from around the globe to work in hard-to-fill roles across Australia. There is significantly more to recruitment than simply reading a CV, asking informal non-competency-based questions followed up by a written reference, which is not usually worth the paper it is written on. As professional recruiters, we dive much deeper.
