Our Story

As the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, the hospitality industry suffered a massive blow. Companies were struggling to find employees, and employees were struggling to land suitable jobs. The situation was so dire that many companies either closed down or operated with a bare minimum workforce.

One of the reasons for this was that a lot of immigrants had to return to their home countries. Additionally, the Australian government imposed travel bans and put working holiday visas on hold. As a result, many job seekers were forced to grab the first available opportunity offered to them, even if it was from an entirely different industry than they were accustomed to. This resulted in a mismatch of opportunities.

It was during this difficult time that Wellness Recruitment was born. Three people had a conversation about the plight of the hospitality, wellness, and tourism industry and decided to do something about it. They wanted to give hope to candidates, clients, and associates alike and show candidates that they could achieve the best possible career outcome they deserve.
